Dr. Yildiz Receives TÜBİTAK 2219 Fellowship for Research at Cornell University

The Yildiz Research Group is proud to announce that Dr. Zehra Irem Yildizz has been awarded the TÜBİTAK 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. This fellowship, granted by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK), supports Turkish researchers in conducting postdoctoral studies abroad.

Dr. Yildiz will conduct her research at Cornell University, focusing on the development of active compound-loaded CD-MOF-based nanofibers for food packaging applications. Her work aims to enhance food safety and extend shelf life through innovative nanotechnology solutions.

The TÜBİTAK 2219 Fellowship is designed to foster international collaboration and support researchers in gaining global experience in their respective fields.
